Classwork
Classwork is kept in your composition book known as your LIBRETA and is required in class every day.

Homework
- Worth 5 points each assignment.
- Late work is not accepted.
- Partial completion of homework is not accepted. Get it done!
- If you are tardy and it is unexcused; your homework is considered late and will not be accepted.
- First and Last name is required; Class period - on the upper right hand side of your homework.
Cheating
Cheating in any form in not acceptable and will result in a grade of “zero” on that assignment, an e-mail home or a phone call, and a citizenship grade of “D” for that quarter. This includes copying homework and both students will receive the same consequence.

Participation
- Be in your seat before the tardy bell rings.
- Have required class materials with you and be ready to learn.
- Students are given 50 points each quarter.
- Points are deducted for infractions.
- Students will lose 2 points for each infraction.
- Infractions are being off-task, disruptive, tardy (not in your seat when the bell rings), rude, unprepared, taking a pass, choosing not to participate, using a cell phone.
Passes
- Passes are permitted on a limited basis. Every effort should be made to complete your business during the passing time.
- Two points will be deducted from your participation grade for taking a pass.
- Make sure you fill out your Huskie Planner to use as your pass.
Makeup Work
- After an absence, the assignment must be completed by the next school day. In cases of multiple absences one additional day will be allowed.
- Any student who misses a quiz due to an absence must take the quiz the following day of the scheduled quiz date. If for some reason the student can’t make it in to take the quiz the same percentage earned from the lesson test will be given for the missing quiz. But, the student will have a zero in the missing quiz grade until the lesson test.
- All missed chapter tests need to be made-up within the allotted time permitted for making up work due to an absence. The student has approximately 5 school days to make up a Test and or an Oral Skit. After that time frame the student will be given a zero for the missing test and or oral skit. Under extraneous circumstances the student will still be permitted to make-up a test as long as the test has not been returned to the students. After excessive time, the student will not be permitted to make up the listening section of the test.
